The client for this building required external solar shading to protect the glazing from summer heat and glare. Pentel Contracts were involved at an early stage of the project due to the structural nature of the Brise Soleil solution.
Pentel Contracts proposed the Astralux 6000/110 external Brise Soleil system.
This system used a 110mm wide aluminium fins in an anodised finish to match the glazing bars used throughout the building.
As an integral part of the building envelope this installation required careful planning to comply with build timetables.
