Pentel Contracts were commissioned to provide a solar shading solution to a traditional reinforced glazed roof at this Pavilion building.
When this pavilion was converted to a retail shop it quickly became apparent that the glazing emitted too much light and heat gain and an internal blind solution was sought.
Pentel Contracts supplied and installed the Astralux system 6000 louvre blind system. This solar shading device allows the louvres to be finely adjusted to provide accurate control over light ingress.
In this installation the blinds were electrically operated with motors neatly concealed within the system. Although each blind could be operated independently the client's requirements was for the blinds to be operated as a group via radio (wireless) switches.
